BioImage
has a broad
patent estate covering the use of Redistribution®
technology for drug discovery, with patents issued in
Europe and the United States, Canada, and Japan.
Redistribution®
is BioImage’s broadly enabling, proprietary technology
that covers any genetically encoded protein fusion to a
luminophore (e.g. GFP), with subsequent monitoring of the
protein’s translocation within a cell as the primary
readout for drug discovery assays.
BioImage
provides a range of licensing opportunities to practice
Redistribution® in your organization for
R&D and screening in the pharmaceutical and agricultural
products sectors. Redistribution® licenses
are flexible and can be configured by use (research vs.
screening) and by region. A limited Redistribution®
license is part of every BioImage Redistribution®
assay.
Redistribution®
licensees include Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Lilly, and
Boehringer Ingelheim. Access to Redistribution®
technology is unencumbered, with no royalties and no milestones.
